Ministries
Pastor Bob Loy and his wife Anita have served First Baptist Church of Ponte Vedra Beach since 2008. He was born in Orlando, Florida. He accepted Christ as his Saviour while in high school. After graduating from high school he served in the U.S. Army. Returning from the military he married Anita and they answered God's call to ministry. God has blessed them with three married children and five grandchildren.
Bible Studies – Held each Wednesday in the Ponte Vedra Beach community at various locales: Wednesday 10AM for Men and Women at Ocean Grove Condominium, 7PM for Women at Dunkin Donuts, and 7PM for Men at Woody’s BBQ.
We serve the assisted living and memory care residents in our community. We hold worship services every Sunday at Arbor Terrace at 3:00pm and Bible studies at The Palms at 10:30AM in Memory Care and 11:00AM in Assisted Living every Thursday.
As a service to our community, we volunteer at The Mission House to feed homeless people in Jacksonville Beach once a month. We have a chaplain that serves in Motorcycle races around the state of Florida. We also volunteer ringing the Salvation Army for a week in December.
